• Trustees approved the reappointment of Anna Binder and Joshua Robinson to the CCSD Audit Advisory Committee for a two-year term, effective July 1, 2028.

Trustees Conducted Interviews and Appointed Hoffman Madzou Moukassa to the Clark County School District Audit Advisory Committee for a Two-Year Term (5-2 )

Trustees conducted interviews of applicants to the Clark County School District Audit Advisory Committee for a two-year term. Trustees selected Hoffman Madzou Moukassa to serve a 2-year term effective July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2028.

Highlights of the interview included:

• An important goal for this appointment was that the appointee have experience in governmental funding.
• The interviewees were Salah “Sal” Debs, global chief compliance officer at Interblock, and Hoffman Madzou Moukassa, financial systems analyst at NV Energy.
• Trustees discussed that both were highly qualified, with Sal bringing a long history of experience with auditing and compliance and Hoffman bringing new ideas and a fresh perspective.

Trustees discussed and approved a letter from the Board of School Trustees in support of iNVest 2027 legislative priorities, and for the Board President to sign the letter so it can be submitted to the Nevada Association of School Superintendents, is recommended.
