Trustees received a presentation and approved the Washoe County School District School Property Reuse and Disposition Framework to be utilized for all school repurposing decisions to be initiated following action by the Board of Trustees to close a school site, in accordance with Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 277 and 393 and Washoe County School District Administrative Regulation 7087.

Trustees received a presentation on the middle school and high school International Baccalaureate programs in the Washoe County School District.

(French, German and Spanish), Vista Higher Learning (Middle School Spanish), and Wayside Publishing (AP Spanish Literature) for a Term of 7 Years

Trustees approved the award of Request For Proposal (RFP) #60-P-10-26-MS, world language instructional materials adoption, to Carnegie Learning (Chinese), Lingco Language Labs Inc. (French, German and Spanish), Vista Higher Learning (Middle School Spanish), and Wayside Publishing (AP Spanish Literature) for a term of 7 years beginning July 1, 2026 and ending June 30, 2033 for the approximate amount of $2,925,000.

• WCSD has been in a comprehensive audit with the Legislative Counsel Bureau for the past three years and recently went forward with the first audit recently being shared with the legislative subcommittee and passed.
