Trustees Approved the 2026-27 and 2027-28 Proposed School Calendars (6-1)
Staff presented three versions of the 2026-28 proposed school calendar. Highlights of the three versions included:
- Version 1: first day of school on a Monday, a three-day Thanksgiving Break, a two-week Winter Break, and last day of school on a Thursday (2026-27) or Friday (2027-28)
Explore Version 1 for 2026-27 and 2027-28.
- Version 2: first day of school on a Thursday (two school days earlier than version 1), a day off the first Monday of October as a quarter break, a one-week Thanksgiving break, a two-week Winter Break, and last day of school on a Thursday (2026-27) or Monday (2027-28)

- Version 3: first day of school on a Thursday (two school days earlier than version 1), a day off the first Monday of October as a quarter break, a one-week Thanksgiving break, a one and a half-week Winter Break (starting Wednesday 12/22 or 12/23), and last day of school on a Tuesday (2026-27) or Thursday (2027-28)
