Interim Superintendent's Report
Highlights included:
- Most systems have been restored for users, following the statewide cybersecurity incident.

The Interim Superintendent acknowledged that while there is still work to do, the State saw gains in English Language Arts, mathematics, science, and graduate rates, as well as reduced chronic absenteeism.
- For legislative implementation, the State has a commitment to communicate with Districts and stakeholders throughout the implementation process. Guidance has been posted on the State's website regarding open enrollment policies, and working groups are actively recruiting members for performance framework updates, literacy, and other priorities from SB 460. Stakeholder engagement, including hearings and meetings, will begin in late winter and early spring. The Department is also committed to making quarterly implementation updates.
